Thx all for the input - sorry caught me out hunting with my little guy yesterday so missed the thread comments.

Here's our take: Fantastic sporting shotgun, made in Turkey, shoulders well, value for the $$, warranty, removeable chokes, nice straight grain on the wood, controls are crisp / free moving, non-binding.

Have 2 guys at the gun counter here today so give us a call tf 1.888.249.1991 if you're looking for more info. If I have a chance to get out in the next week or so I'll take a Canuck with me & let you know what I think.

Got one of these in 12 gauge on order at my LGS. Hard to find info on these online as they are pretty new. Went in and was able to hold one. Looks and feels very well built. Need one for trap and skeet as I am currently using a single shot Rossi. Price point is great for an over under! As mentioned above, stock photo's on distributor's website do not do this gun justice. Thanks for uploading pics and reviewing! I will be happy to give you my thoughts once I pick mine up and take her out to the trap field.

are the defender pumps Remington clones?wondering if any Remington aftermarket parts will work on it?

Might make a nice substitute the well known Chinese clones if they are compatible.

    Hi to all.
I am new to the forum and also wondering if the standard 870 accessories would fit the defender?
Thanks to everyone for any input.

Yah, I noticed that too. Oddly it says right in the ad on their website 'fibre optic sight'. Perhaps he ordered it without the fibre optic sight??

The Defender is not a Remington clone. Adapter may do the trick - do not have in stock though...

I ordered one a few weeks ago and it was waiting at my house for the past week. Just got home today and unboxed it and I must say it seems like great quality for the price. Got it on sale too so it was super cheap! I have a can of 2/34” 00 buckshot I’m gunna christen it with tomorrow. I can’t wait! I’ll get back to everyone on how it performs tomorrow but by how solid and smooth it seems I got the feeling it’s going to perform great! I got the Renegade. It’s a savage looking shotty!
