Just joined at advice of a buddy. Looking to get a lot more serious about hunting. I initially started hunting with a really good buddy back in school. we had no one to teach us so we read and watched youtube and then just got out there. Many hours of trying to figure it out. Still feel like a beginner. Ive put down a few small mule deer and i dont know maybe 1000 duck and geese. I have my trusty 870 and an old war rifle built on a mauser action that was re-purposed into a sporting rifle. I have been shooting it for years and it shoots straight and consistent. I refinished the stock on it (many hours and days of reading and talking to various paint and finish carpenters). and it has a 4x weaver scope on it. its Stamped "Globe Firearms" and "Austria". Cal. .308 I love it, but im sure id fall in love with another rifle for smthgin over 200 yards.
