How does this insurance compare with that offered by the Canadian Coalition For Firearm Rights' legal defence insurance?

Looks to be the same company but more expensive.

    Go here: https://firearmrights.ca/en/join-the-coalition/

You will see addons for insurance which to me looks like you have to buy the legal advice AND the legal defense, whereas this is all inclusive.

Don't think they are any different, just depends on where you want to shop, however I could be mistaken.

Any more feedback on the Beowulf and 10/22 mags? Registered for peace of mind but would like to know if this has been clarified before I call myself.

This is the biggest concern for me when I am shooting outside a range.

On the 10/22 mags don't expect help.. one of the exclusions specify if you are not licensed to have it (prohibited) no coverage
    No surprise though

My question though... different spot says they will not help if it is not a firearm. .. antiques are not considered firearms by gov't.... doesn't mean some over zealous or more likely uninformed in antiques leo doesn't try to apply firearm offenses to your antique. .
So as it is a firearm act charge would you have coverage? Or as it's officially not a firearm, would you not?
    Just a Sunday morning musing...

I'm going to have to do some research on this. Seems like a great idea.

But doesn't that presuppose the 25 round Butler Creek mags are in fact a prohibited device? RCMP suggest that they are.....a close reading of the FA suggest that they are not. Nobody knows for sure until a court rules.

If you call them please let us know what they say.

I'm curious what there opinion is of it and how educated they are themselves on the issue.
