I'm in the process of setting up a volunteer program to help vets. Something different that isn't available right now.
Speaking with my ex who works at VA and she has a ton of WW2 vets who don't want to use what they are entitled to. However one of the things that is a common issue is transportation. They need transportation to appointments, the legion, family events, to get groceries etc. They can use community provided assets but it costs them money so they avoid it.
We'd like to hook up CF members who would like to provide transportation for these vets with those who need it. It won't be strictly WW2 vets but any that need help with this.
