I just added a new item to the website, the NEA Brake Shield. They are available for 30 cal rifles with a 5/8-24 thread and 556 rifles with a 1/2-28 thread.

NEA Brake Shield: The body is made from suppressor grade 316 stainless steel. The muzzle brake is 4140 with a nitrade finish.

These would be good not to piss of your neighbour on the range, but I wonder what the recoil impulse feels like with one of those on.

What's the point of having a brake if you're not pissing off everyone on the line???

    Should be mandatory lol

I hate getting stuck beside a short AR with a brake. I get it, different strokes for different folks, but please respect the people who share the firing line. It's not like a brake makes a big difference when shooting 223 from a bench...

So is that totally solid? Like no ports at all like a pig? Say if I had a brake and a shorter barrel I could slip that puppy on and just expose 1/2 inch out of guard?
