Plus your flash hider or muzzle break at the end of the barrel gains you a bit more.
I like the 14".

but 12" is lighter, that's why I went with a 12" for my 14.5" barrel.
And it still looks good.

When you get yours would you mind posting a pic of it installed? I'm thinking about one of these for my 14.5. Can't decide between 12 or 14.
