    Correct me if I'm wrong but thumb/slide safeties on all Tokarev pistols, regardless of country of origin are for the US market.

    I think the only military Tok that had a safety was the yugo model

    五四-1 has additional safety. It's an improved version made by China.

    US Import has a requirement that a safety be installed. The original Tokarev design is no safety. The Chinese Type 54 is a clone of the Russian TT33.

    These are military versions, not civilian market versions.

    Correct, these are military surplus for the Chinese military made between 1954-1980.
