Seriously thinking of getting one of these for when I'm fly fishing the Eastern slopes.

    Never in doubt, seldom correct.

    Mine just came today.

Same metal aluminum trigger guard and outstanding quality and finish.

The receiver is excellent, trigger excellent, smooth action out of the box, finish seems thicker than the last Marstar batch.....

Less machine marks than the previous 12" Grizzlys I have seen.

    Nice work Chris!

Outstanding value for a bush gun!

Maybe I got lucky but this is way higher quality than a Remington 870 Express

Thinking about one of these in 12", but I'm deciding between the ghost ring vs the bead sights.

How do the ghost ring sights hold up? Are they solid or do they come loose or bend/break easily?

The finish on mine is already starting to go and i haven't even shot it. Cleaned and oiled it completely upon arrival. Racked it about 20 times. Now the mag is loosing it's finish completely where the forend tube reciprocates. Got a remington tube assembly en route in hopes this stops it.

If you're buying the 12", then get the ghost rings. Better to have them. Even if you take them off in favor of a beaded barrel. Mine seem pretty solid and I've never heard of anyone having issues with them. I'm going to find a used 870 barely for mine that I will swap out for skeets or ducks when he mood strikes me.
