The gun has played a critical role in history. An invention which has been praised and denounced... Served hero and villain alike... And carries with it moral responsibility. To understand the gun is to better understand history.
Any good for wood chuck and ground hog? We have a bit of a problem with them, here
Doesn't matter, anymore. We're only good for filling sandbags for floods and saving people during winter storms. Other-wise we're kicking posts and crazies who are over worked, over taxed, underpaid and never truly appreciated.
How much :D
"Whoop-whoop-whoop-whoop!"
There was apparently also an issue that the available 14.5x114 ammo was just nowhere near the quality of the .50 BMG (12.7x99) that Western snipers were using, so as a stopgap Ukraine invented the 12.7x114 HL so they could use the really good bullets and barrels with the extra velocity from the larger case. This new Cadex rifle may be an indication that quality ammo for the original caliber must be coming available too.
It's cool, but where's the artillery definition line? Asking for a friend.
