Not necessarily, depends on the length. They are designed for break actions but at least some can fit in others - I've got a 22lr one, it is under 3" long and fits into my pump gun. Never tried it from the magazine, but now you've got me wondering. I'll check later and get back to you lol

PR any 9mm or 357 to 12ga expected in the near future? I've got 410, 20ga, and 22lr from y'all, need some pistol calibers now...

If I want to shoot 9mm or .45ACP out of a 12 guage would I first need the 12 to 20 adapter and then insert the 20 to pistol adapter? Or does it not work like that?

No, the manufacturer makes 12ga adapters in those calibers, PR only lists what they have in stock on their site though.

The thought has crossed my mind to try what you suggest, I was very close to buying 9mm to 20ga when i bought my 20ga to 12ga, but something about doubling up adapters doesn't sit right for me... even if it's safe(?) it can't be good for accuracy.

You are probably correct. Also, stacking tolerances may be a problem.
