C96 Mauser w/ original holster stock.

This just came in on consignment. Original pre WWI Mauser C96 in 7.63mm. All parts match including the stock. Metal is about 90% with some slight wear under the barrel and on the backstrap. At some point in time an owner had his initials engraved on the side, but it was done very professionally. Bore is nice with sharp rifling, there is slight frosting to the grooves, but no bad pitting. $2499

It's been a few years but is this firearm still for sale? What year is the gun?

Regardless, I would be very surprised if it was still for sale after almost 4 years. It's just not logical.

I have a C96 that looks about that good ... but it appears to have been refinished. Doesn't matter; it is NOT for sale! (This is not the one in my avatar.)

What I do not have is a shoulder stock. Does anyone know where I can find one, even a modern reproduction?

I also have a C96 made in 1911, and would love to get a stock for it

I have one (repro), will ship it to you for $150 all in if interested, I paid more but just don't use it. Complete with leather.

Oh, and a Phillipine pattern holster too...
