Just placed my order! Only one model left in stock folks!
No .38 elevators left though, so I'm hoping that the factory, which is apparently back up and running, will be sending some.....

Could you fill me in on this ?? I was talking to the owner just a few days ago.... Not up and running
John
Oh? It was from one of your employees, so I'm sure that he was mistaken...
Perhaps he was thinking about a different Italian manufacturer?
Otherwise, he was very friendly and helpfull!!
I'm not super worried about the .38 elevator, but if one shows up somewhere, I'd love to have it!
It aint rocket science!!
Well, my Chaparral 1873 lever, in .357, arrived today!
Though I won't get a chance to fire it for at least a few days, I did cycle some snap-caps through it. Unlike the one in the Marstar video, this one has a relatively smooth action, straight out of the box. Really, for the price, a great looking rifle!! Can't wait to get out and shoot!!
Thank's to John, and the Marstar staff, for great customer service, and friendly, helpful interactions!
By the tie the new Pietta 1873 revolvers arrive, I'll have saved enough for a pair of .357's to match.....
I'm thinking that there's gonna be some SASS in my future.....
It aint rocket science!!
I have the Chaparral '66 in .357 mag and it was al little stiff at the begining but now it is smooth as butter. I use it for CAS and am pleased with it. Just hope that when the time comes I can get replacement parts for it.
Any chance for a model 73 .357 mag with 19" barrel? From was I read here and the website showing "out of stock" I assume the chances are slim but I figured I'd ask.
A lot of discussion on older Chaparral rifles can be found at;
