H&K P30 "S models"

There's a new P30 DA/SA model with a new safety lever. The S models seem identical to the previous models in every way except for the new safety lever, which allows the user to safe the gun while cocked in SA mode. The trigger reset and trigger pull feels exactly the same as the regular DA/SA gun. Unlike the HK45, the decocker is not built into the safety, but is located at the rear of the frame just left of the hammer.

P30s now come in .40 S&W.

Hopefully these new models will trickle down to the P30L, but the HK rep only knew about the models planned for the US.

I sold my P30-L as I want the S version in 9mm. I think it would be a good production gun. At one time I hated thumb safeties,...Now I feel my grip is much better having one.

Vltor is funny:

"hello, can you show us the newest and greatest products you have?"

"hmm, we have absolutely nothing new this year."

** Silence***

"Any new stuff at all?"

"No, we don't"

The Bren 10 looks a lot like a tanfoglio,...or armalite pistol. The way the grip goes in it probably uses the short hammer springs as opposed to the long (CZ) springs. grips and I bet some internals are compatible with the Tanfoglio/CZ family.

I saw some where in the magazine year ago, about something similar in 556 caliber, in the Philippine.

Goddamn I would do unholy things to get my hands on the Taurus Judge Magnum. 6" barrel, 7 SHOTS OF .410, .45LC OR .454 CASULL!!!

Actually the version that shoots the .454 Casull is only a 6 shot due to the pressures of the cartridge. I asked. The Lightweight versions (AKA the 7 shot versions are NOT rated for .454 Casull rounds and use of them, I'm sure, is strongly discouraged.
