Is the mainspring inside the stock? that might limit a possible stock conversion to an M4/AR15 style stock

According to the above blog post, the main spring is inside the stock, severely limiting stock options. Too bad. Receiver forward this is one sexy rifle.

Have you tried PMAGs, EMAGs, etc.?

The fact that it doesn't fit Tango Down and some other plastic mags (?PMag?) but does fit aluminum mags makes me think it is designed for STANAG mags ( h ttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STANAG_4179 ).

My MR223 is designed for STANAG mags. PMags etc are slightly oversized compared to this NATO standard.

Buy Magpul EMags if you want to run good plastic mags. CGN member Dynamite Monkey and Blaxsun have carried these recently.

"While EMAG remains 100% compatible with the AR15/M16 platform, its unique geometry is optimized for foreign-made weapons such as the HK 416, FN SCAR, British SA-80, Beretta ARX-160, IMI Tavor, and others."

Handled one at a store today, it was $1600ish, non-restricted. Very cool.

(if you want the dealer PM me, so as not to hijack here)
