Don't want to break the excitement, but what is so great about those bullets? Anyone else used them and do they any better then AIM's bullet made locally?

These are an actual jacketed bullet not plated, meaning they can be driven at greater velocity without the exterior disintegrating or breaking thru during crimping. I have used these since they were first developed and extremely impressed. No mis shapen and weights within .2gr. I personally am looking forward to the 40 cal introduction

    Oh and I think u have a typo on the 38Super price..I expect u mean /500??

If this is the case, I will buy them all.I think you meant $60 for 500.

BDX bullets are FMJ, AIM are plated.

I used some of the ammo made with the new BDX bullets at a local IPSC level2 match in NS. Worked 100%, and although I was severely under the weather (I was out with the boys the night before), I had no misses, and won by 10%)

Accuracy; very accurate as one 5 shot group shot the previous week at a bullseye 20y match saw all 5 rounds in a straight line across the 10ring

I have always used the BDX/Combat masters ammo. I have only loaded 400rds in my entire life. I have shot much of Kurts ammo in the 124gr and 147gr, as well as 180gr .40 ammo.
I have had great results. The new ammo products are what I expected, great quality and a great product. I have had no complaints coming from the users of some of the products I have brought in to NB. Most of my product is usually sold before I get it in...

BDX bullets are FMJ, AIM are plated.
So? In my understanding, BDX are swaged softlead bullets, AIM's are cast using much harder alloy and they are using thicker plating then regular plated bullets (like Frontier). So, AIM made to stand the high velocities just well.
