Yes, your number remains the same. I went through the same thing and when I called them last week they confirmed it and said all the numbers are the same (the important numbers before the decimal) and that the only numbers that change are after the decimal on your card. I hope that makes sense to you.

From what I've read on this forum (This thread to be specific), BC has a "Backlog" which could take up to months..... Hang in there!

    Updates:

    Province: Alberta
    2015/01/23: Application Sent
2015/02/26: Showed online - Application Received on 2015/02/04
2015/02/27: Online banking shows credit card charged by RCMP
2015/03/16: Called in and be told to let one of my two references call in to take the interview. Then one of them called in and answered questions.2015/02/26:
2015/03/19: Called in and be told by the CFC information officer that my application was transferred to the provincial CFO for final review and approval on March 18, and this final step needs a couple of days or weeks.
2015/03/26: Called in again, and asked for speaking to the provincial CFO, this CFC agent put me through and the provincial CFO approved my RPAL on the phone after verifying my personal information, and gave me my licence number.

The online status shows "our application has been processed and your licence has been issued. If you have not received your licence within 2 weeks please contact the Canadian Firearms Program Toll Free number. (1-800 731-4000)".

    Albertan applicant:

Application received Feb 6, Online Feb 24th, approved march 26th. so from here, it gets transferred to the Alberta CFO for final approval? why is that anyway? and whats the average wait?
