I believe I've heard that NRCAN were/are refusing to test ammo with mercuric priming. I believe I've also heard that NRCAN are not willing to approve for import ammo without specs from the origional manufacturer. Tough to do when the origional manufacturer is 60+ years out of business.

John and Chris would be the subject matter experts.

I'd also like to reserve a case of the x54R! Got 2 Mosins and a Tokarev on the way.

Are we able to reserve a case of the 7.62x54 or are people just posting this and we have to wait until the shipment arrives?

    FROSST:
Due to recent extremely negative comments by members of CGN we will NOT take pre orders on this ammo....
It is expected late August, do not have the exact ETA....

    John
    Meaning December or February

How can you run a business if you don't know what your inventory supply logistics are ?

Are these posts just a way to increase traffic to your website ?

this i type of comments is the exact reason John said will not apply the pre-order system....

the pre-order system is not only helping save money with better deals but gives us the chance to plan our purchases in advance

and in exchange you keep complaining!

Why don;t you understand that the firearms business is more complicated than importing socks and that it's not John's fault that there are delays

...And again we are reminded why John is reluctant to give dates or let us in on anything inbound.

Not one to normally chime in on these types of posts but as a warehouseman myself I know exactly where John is on his shipment ETA. My boss gets the same from his suppliers as well. In transit is in transit. Knowing where it is isnt something most people know unless tracking beacons are put on the load. All John knows is his shipment is in transit which he is telling us. Another thing, delays shouldnt be just associated with the laws of our country. Delays can be mechanical as well. If a carrier has a mechanical breakdown, they arent going to send another truck to continue the delivery.
