I am very interested in TNW Firearms product GPS1, the gas piston retrofit kit for AR-15 carbines. Page 9 on their brochure.

They are vastly different from the AR 15, please read through the literature....

    Two MAJOR advantages,
    1) the cool running gas system
    2) Interchangeable barrels, for instance, you can go from .223 to 7.62x39 in just a few seconds, have a look at the demo video.

PRICING will right around the US prices....

Then what was the rationale behind the classification?

Its obvious that knowone from Ottawa does'nt ever watch Wild TV, because they would see American's using AR's for hunting all the time. The AR is quickly becoming one of America's most favorite hunting rifle.

I wish that someone with some "Pull" would step in and point out the lack of difference in a AR rifle compared to a Ruger Mini14, or even a Semi-auto Browning or Remington rifle. The AR is Restricted just because our government is pretigous about their looks.

It could be worse, the AR was supposed to be prohibited, but the DCRA fought and managed to keep it restricted since it is used in a number of shooting competitions.

I'm definitely interested if they're within my budget. Please let us know when these are up for pre-order!
