How many guns is too many?

I got my RPAL a week or so ago and I've been doing some shopping. So far I've bought a Lee Enfield and a Walther P-38, the Enfield transfer has been approved and its in the mail, the P-38 transfer has gone to the Ontario CFO for the final blessing.
There is one more handgun I've paid for and still need to transfer, and I still want to buy a Beretta Neos.

Can I expect the CFO to start giving me a hard time buying four guns in the first month?

Why would they give you a hard time? You have an RPAL, right? :D

I think a red flag goes up at the CFO if you purchase 10 in a month or some such nonsence. Don't worry about it.

Goodness, that's like asking how much money is too much? Can you really have too many?

I bought 3 guns while waiting for my RPAL/PAL and they all were transfered during first two weeks after I've got the lincence home. I even called CFO a couple of times to find out what the status of my transfer. So, I guess, no problem with that. If they would have problem with you having guns, they wouldn't issue your licence in the first place. If you have money, buy more and then some. If you have too many guns - buy a new safe.

No such thing as too many.

I can't see myself owning more than 10 or so, but if that lottomax ticket pans out, oooh boy.

It's like pokemon, got to catch them all.

You need at least 2 shotguns, a 12 and a 20. A .410 would be good too. One of them has to be pump, because everyone loves the Cha-chunk sound. You need at least 1 big game hunting rifle. Then you will decide that one is too nice to drag through the bush so you need a bush gun too. Then you need a long range rifle, because you totally plan on hunting sheep one day. Half a dozen 22's is a good starting point, you can never have enough 22's. One semi-auto pistol from each manufacturer will get you started. One Glock in every caliber. You need at least 3 revolvers, one of them must be a .357 magnum so you can say "Go ahead, make my day" a bunch of times.

Then it's time to start your AR-15 build...
