    Where to shoot? Lower mainland

I'm wondering some places in the lowermainland where you can legally shoot out in the bush, or in a gravel pit or something. My brother just got a new gun so he's looking to try it out without having to drive 1 hour. i usually go out down chilliwak lake road but i'm looking for somewhere closer.

I live in surrey, i'm wondering if there is anything close by? abbotsford?

    Thanks!

Pardon the huge picture but its so you can read it easily.

Best thing you can show police if they hassle you about where your shooting. CFC made it so it legally holds.

(If shooting at stave lake, the legal shooting area on the west side (florence) is past the 19km marker on the trail.

You'll see a big yellow gate saying Caretaker On Duy and a clearing both on your left. There on all good.

Any hunting license retailer should have them, they're called the "Fraser valley special area hunting map"

slamman beat me to the link!!

But if your heading in the bush to blast, please clean up after yourself.
Too many areas are being left a pig sty from recreational shooters, we risk looking access to them if things don't improve.

    Enjoy!!
Hunting isn't a matter of life or death, It's more important than that!!

I cart out more than I bring in everytime no exceptions - It's unbelievable what people use for target practice, the one that makes me really mad are the $#!^heads that shoot up old car batteries?!. I just google earth'd Sylvester Road and you can actually see the junk from space.
