Re quoted for pure awesomeness. One of the best looking .308 semi-auto's we have access too.

On a side note/question. Magazines for this rifle, will un doubtingly be uber expensive, so I wonder if NEA would be willing to make up a lower receiver similar to the one they make for the Black Special/Classic green rifles. I kinda like the idea of rocking style mags in a /308 so a lower using common inch pattern FAL mags would be sweet. And of coarse let us use AR style But Stocks.

    5 round mag laws suck.

Not for us poor folk. Ammo goes in a hurry in large cap mags. I mean in an awful hurry.

I'm gonna save for the variant with the railed fore end.

Making an aftermarket plastic mag should be straight forward. But are enough of these rifles coming in to make it worthwhile for someone to tool up for them?

Quad rail is an available option for the SAPR, not a variant. About $700 in Switzerland. Still not free float.

Okay....the version (sheesh) of the sapr with the quad rail (corrected)

Too bad about not being free floated. You have to wonder what difference in impacts sling tension would make.

    Still, I'd gladly take one...

Long thread on shift in POI with a poll on the .223 PE90 here:

    http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=654732

Looks like about a 2-3 MOA shift from bipod to magazine monopod. SAPR has a shorter handguard (less torque) and a thicker barrel (more resistance to torque). Hopefully this will reduce the shift in POI to 1 MOA or so. I'm early on the waitlist for one and will have one if/when they are available in Canada.

Be sure to keep us informed on this when/if you get the chance to shoot it.

You're right, the thicker barrel should make a difference. How much, we'll just have to see....
