Does the gas valve have the same high/low setting of the CG? Or are there other settings?
That's me in the background of the first picture...I was lucky enough to handle the SAPR. It was a religious experience.

Barrel length question:
Is this a specific Canadian variant with a barrel length just over the 18.5" mark or is it longer? Hoping for just over 18.5" but I'll take it however it comes.
