    New Garand Barrels

I believe that there is enough demand in Canada to warrant importing new US-made Garand barrels in both .308 and .30-06. They are available in the US from various makers. How about it?

    I'd take one too.
The ultimate result of shielding men from the effects of folly, is to fill the world with fools.

We've been so conditioned to fear doing something wrong that simple little things become 'unsafe'. I guess we've become "Canadianized".

    But then there is this

•Certain parts are restricted for export by the United States Government, including barrels, barrel blanks, bolt assemblies, cylinders, receivers, frames, bolts, and high capacity magazines.

Pre-orders are horrible for everyone involved. They never go smooth. We will not be doing a pre-order to bankroll this project.
