    Love it....... would be prepared to trade my like new 870 Marine Magnum for it and the starting MSRP at something like $498 is great.

    Anyone can handle the guns in the various racks, and I ran into that quite a bit, where similar models were switched.

    the 887's have a plastic sort of shield over the barrel, am i wright??? i would like to know if moisture would get trapped between the plastic and metal barrel and how that would affect the metal in the long run??? even using the gun in the rain, can water penitrate between the two? just throwing that out there.... any thoughts

    I think some companies are realllyyyy putting on their try-hard pants to accomplish making a "tactical" gun...trying a bit too hard.

    I have zero regrets about getting an 870 express tactical. Don't care for that 887 though...

    Me and my buddy got a pair of 870's, things both fell apart...
