    Does the Rio Grande have the safety at top? I actually don't mind the rossi lever actions once they're slicked up but I'm not a fan of that safety at top. I just feel like it's going to break off by looking at it.I wouldn't mind picking one up in 45-70.

    Love these rifles. Haven't been able to coordinate them being available with money in my pocket yet. Someday.

    welcome to Canada indeed....

    Check out my 22 pound bolt actioned, single-shot PISTOL....

    Yep, restricted. Can't legally shoot on my property, and require an ATT to take to the range.

    It is an XP-100 action, but in Canada, once a pistol, always a pistol. CFC and CFO will not budge.

    I wanted to resurrect this thread to ask a question;

    Are there any revolving carbines in Canada that are not restricted? That are available, and don't cost an arm & leg??
    You are either trained or untrained, and you
    will always fall to the level of your training.

    This thread is about four years old and it has been nearly three years since the last post in here; this may not be the best place. You would likely find a better place for this discussion in either the Hunting and Sporting Arms forum or the Pistols and Revolvers forum. We'll be closing this thread in the meantime to prevent confusion for those seeing a four year old post bounce up in their forum view.
