The one in .410 g. is name the trail judge I think. But I don't see them in the 2011 catalog. Heard they had problem with the BATF in the state and pull them out of the shot show along with the 28 g revolver...

It remain to be seen if we could get it here.

These are funky lookin' little guns. and being of Rossi/Taurus manufacture, will be of
good quality steel and need only a lighter ejector spring in the bolt to save damage to the brass upon ejection. I've done this to both my M92 .44 16" & .454 20" Rossi rifles
and it works! However, for a pack or home defence gun, I would have to go with the
16" .44 Mag standard lever gun with a Skinner ghost ring rear sight and small bead front.
Real neat "Look at me" cowboy guns though.
*LEAD* Still the best boolit material for huntin' & plinkin' for over 600 yrs.
    Shoot well & load better.

" Skinner ghost ring rear sight and small bead front. "

Could those same sights be mounted on the Ranch Hand?

Don't know about defesive purposes, especially with the .44 mag, but a nice gun none the less. Id much prefer a full stock, but for riding around on the quads or whatever this would be awesome to carry no doubt.

I might be concerned about the classification if these things start flying off the shelf though. If they are sold as a handgun in the US,and marketed as such by Rossi, I wouldn't doubt the RCMP could attempt some reclassification BS. I surely hope not, and I await the word from Wanstalls when they are finally imported.

Gary, will the Ranch Hands have the silly safety on the bolt?

Doesn't matter - if they do steves guns sells a replacement 'stud' to eliminate it - OR you can actually get a rear peep sight from them which fits into that hole.
