I have a Henry. Very nice quality. I couldn't find any flaws, and I'm picky.

I don't doubt the Henry, but the absence of a loading gate drove me to the Rossi. I know, I know, smoother action, better sights, etc. With more $$$ I'd have both.

Apparently you can have several tubes pre-loaded with ammo, and you can quickly dump them into the loading tube.
    Haven't seen it done though.

I have been trying to get this idea goin with my friend that has a lathe ... If someone knows where to get these that would be even easier. Sometimes a 44 mag is to much for a poor little ole grouse.

My .45 RH is almost finished. I fitted my PGW stock and made a brass
butt plate from 1/8" flat bar. Along with a Steve's ejector spring plus my
own brass follower and lever resizing job, this rifle is just about ready.

I just have to get a couple of steel, oval head screws to replace the
wood screws that are temporarily holding the butt plate on.
These are fun guns to work with.
