i thought that the GSG 5 was prohib cause it replicates/mimics a prohib gun (MP5)? Not because of the company.

GSG 5 was prohibited as a variant.
MP44, MP40 are not named prohibs, so prohibition as a variant wouldn't apply.
If the SHOT show generated sufficient interest, I expect the mfr. will be getting these into series production as soon as possible.

If the SSD BD44 in 7.92x33 didn't get classified as prohibited, this one isn't going to be.

That SSD G43 is going to cost about $3000 CAN. Wolverine Supplies is the only Canadian SSD dealer now, Marstar let go of their dist rights and are just selling old stock.

I have the SSD MKb42(H) and the MP38, cool? Yes. Expensive to shoot? Yes

For less than $700 lets say, I would totally buy a GSG gun and ammo would be dirt cheap...run gopher...run!!!!

that is was better than i thought. I have expensive taste, so im used to seeing a high price tag for the stuff i want to buy (eventually).

considering how ive seen used G43 ranging from $3k-8k, i think SSD's price is very fair.

I found the rifle, but I can't find a price. Anyone know if Marstar will bring these in?

I wonder if they solved the original gas system being too hot and the problem of them exploding if they have a head separation?
Teach a man to make a fire and he'll be warm for a night, light a man on fire and he'll be warm the rest of his life

So if these (and Issc mk22 scar since they all use the same action) get approval, can we put the action into their mp5 frame?
