How do you ship your ammunition?

I'm moving and need to mail my ammunition to myself. I went to UPS, DHL, and Canada post and they all told me they would not ship any of my ammunition.

I'm going to Purolator and Canpar on Tuesday to figure it out last minute but I have a very bad feeling they are going to deny me service too and I'll be screwed and have to find some method of disposing of it before I fly out.

Can someone tell me what they've done in the past to ship thier ammo?

    Thanks

Talk to a supervisor at DHL. I've used them to ship ammo lots.

I've used Purolator. And I<3M14 is right. Sometimes you have to get the supervisor to make things go. I have not shipped by Canpar but have received by them.
I used to be indecisive. Now I'm not so sure.

Its funny you say that cause he had to call his supervisor to clear up his confusion and the supervisor immediatly said no.

Hopefully Purolator will not have thier heads up thier ass and I won't have a last minute EE ad to deal with...

    UPS also ships ammunition.

Canpar is likely a better choice though.

Individuals/ private sellers are legally allowed to ship ammunition to other individuals/ private buyers.

Do not ship it by Canada Post.

Ive shipped crates of ammo before - UPS (the items needed to be marked with a proper transport logo) Thats it.

I think CanPar may be the best bet these days
