    Now the question of the day. Do you have a program like that?

    No 30cm plates at 500m. We do have silhouette type figure targets at various ranges.

    using the worm rule 30cm (1 foot) at 500m is x mils. (.30 x 1000)/x = 500m
    so 300/x=500
    300= (500)x
    300/500= x
    x=.6 mil

    so with y equaling the scaled target hieght
    (y x 1000)/.6 =25
    25 x .6 =y x 1000
    15= y x 1000
    15/1000 = y
    .015 = y
    .015m or 1.5cm

    so this range could in theory simulate a 30 cm gong at 500m with an actual hit box of 1.5cm
    so each gong could take 2 or 3 hits before failing to register
    so with a dynamic range practise with pop up 30cm gongs that fall when hit you could run a range with targets out to 500m (simulated)

    am i correct in this thinking?

    Your math is correct, at least .

    Very nice. I used a range like this in South Africa for self defense handgun training and it was very effective. You can shoot at moving targets and get instant feedback. It's a much more realistic training method than regular static paper targets. Not to mention more fun.

    Thumbs up indoor range

    I recently went and used the indoor cinema range. Wow that thing is awesome.
    The vereity of difrent senarios was amazing, every thing form 3 gun and tactical senerios to shooting at cartoon chickens playing soccer. brought along a few buddies, did two 15 minute blocks for $120 ($40 each). killed an hour and had a blast.

    The range itself was amazing, it registered every shot. the vent system was good so the air wasn't stale with smoke.

    I highly recommend this range, it is worth every penny. Not only can you practise on moving targets, its indoors, clean and their is lots of space to setup. you can easly get 4 people shooting at a time with plenty of room. and since you rent the range and instead of paying per person, brnging a few friends along can make this a very affordable endevour.

    I'm looking for a group to go with to cut down cost. Haven't tried it yet but I bought 6 extra Mags to cut down re-load time!
    Yay for 175 rounds in one go!
