Here's mine. Did the crayon trick and I think it turned out good.

Got them out. You were right, the brass punch wasn’t cutting it (at least not on mine).
So the front sight came out with a steel punch no issues, but the rear was not budging. The sight dovetail base was deforming, so I knew what my next step was… out came the dremel. Split the sight neatly almost all the way through and it came right out. Wasn’t my preferred method, but it’s off now.
Now I'm just waiting for my stock.
