We have our marauder kits in finally & have started shipping to the first preorder list. I had to build one & give my review of the kit.

Im quite impressed with the solid feel of the kit & the features included. First off, this kit needs the factory 18.5" barrel to be nonrestricted. Folded yields 27" OAL. The kit has a nice metal flash hider included & an undersized fake silencer.

The rear sight is a flip dual apature & the rail feels solid. I put a cantaliver red dot & it clears the open sights nicely

It has a cool little storage area behind the folding stock, this is where the hardware is, i actually had to read the instructions to find the hardware.

The mags are still a couple of months away from individual sales, but we will be bringing in a lot of them. I have yet to try it out, but i will report when i do. They fit other 10/22s also.

The kit doesn't feel 'cheap' at all? Also, how long do you think it will be before orders are filled and retailer have the kit in stock? I could see the marauder kit being on back order for some time.

The kit is polymer, so it feels like plastic, but the fit is nice, the stock is rock solid lockup. The stock is quite large, not as small as i expected & a bit heavier. The extras included more than make up for it. Really nice mag, extended auto bolt release, adjustable sights, metal flash supressor & fake silencer, All included for the $218. Put your name on our backorder list & you will have one as soon as possible, we are filling order in the order received. Prebooking is the only way to get one now due to the present demand. We got a large order on this first run so it looks like we will be filling a lot of second list preorders as well. We have a lot more of these stocks arriving regularly.

When are you going to start building with these kits? What kind of components are you thinking about putting in them? I'm very interested if it saves a bit of money than building one myself.

What is the OAL with the 18.5" barrel and the stock extended?

+1, I want the "C" or "K" model look for mine, even if the stock gets fixed in place. How short of a barrel can be fitted and still clear the forearm?
