    The standard handguard covers most of the gas block... the "enhanced" version rail is shorter and the gas block sits out past the end of the rail.

    I'm not sure about the Gravel "Canadian" version of the gun but it does look longer than the enhanced handguard version we had as part of our first shipment.

    Cool, thanks. Not a huge deal, I'd rather the enhanced version for the folding stock and quad rail anyways, was just curious.

    I was under the impression that it's the standard aluminium hand guard for the "Canadian" version (just with a fixed vs. folding stock), but if it's longer that's an added bonus for the NR barrel. We'll know in a week or so in any event...

    Barret at Armacoat is also in the process of getting setup to do barrel blackening
