Every poet is a soldier, and every soldier, a poet; for he who believes in something will surely stand up for it, and he who stands up for something must surely believe in it.
Trifle first, trifle always.
Is this an American copy of the Norinco M-305 rifle?
this would be the origional issue M-14, Vietnam era, norinco would be the copy.
When are these going to be in stock again?
Kirk
Actually no. The original M-14 was made by Springfield Armory, which closed in 1968. The current Springfield Armory Inc. licensed the name in 1974 and is not the same. Originally it sold products based on surplus stock from the original Springfield, but as that stock ran out it began manufacturing the components itself, and while its quality is obviously considered pretty good, the processes are not identical to the way the original M-14 was manufactured.
Really no-one manufactures the original M-14 anymore, so it boils down to who you think makes the best copy.
