Is there a special tool need to remove the barrel?, and At what length is it consider to be restricted?

No tools required to remove the barrel.

I believe the specific length is "less than 470mm" which is anything less than 18.503937 inches.

Would it be possible to divulge the name of the company who manufactures the barrels?

I'm going to hold off doing that for the time being... others are scrambling around trying to offer this and frankly I don't want to "help" our competition by naming the company who did these for us... at least not just yet ;)

We have some other ACR barrels in the works as well... other calibers, other lengths and even considering a Chrome Moly instead of Stainless... but they are still months away and we do not have pricing on these "projects" at this time.

The biggest limiting factor for these aftermarket items is Bushmaster's refusal (so far) to make their piston system and locking components available to aftermarket barrel producers... thus forcing producers to sell only the stripped barrel and customers to use their factory parts for any barrel switch.
