I Dont see why it should even be an issue. If you dont own the pistol that it fits what is the problem?
They required that I get the seller (gun store) to send a verifier report that showed the gun as having a 10 round mag. However, I was also asked if I had a receipt which stated that the gun had a 10 rounder..."uhhh...No." was my response. So again, it was "You need to have the dealer send in the verifier report."
So, that's been done, and they tell me now that they have received that report and will be issuing me a new cert.
Look to your front! Mark your target when it comes.
I understand it as this:
The PISTOL (owned or not) can accept these mags, therefore the mags must be limited to 10rnds, because in Canada pistols can only ever have 10rnds max. That's it. That's all.
Now, if a rifle (in Canada) can accept a PISTOL mag, then that rifle can have the 10rnds allowed, rather than being limited to 5rnds.
Rimfire are exempt from 5rnds in rifle, BUT are still limited to 10rnds for pistol.
Got it?
Yes the Black Dog 50 rounders are legal.
I had my 10 rounders out last week (first time since they have been neutered) and they absolutely suck!!
I e-mailed Questar as I did not see them on their website. Scott responded that they are currently not in stock and would be back up on their site when they are available.
I am definitely watching their site and can't wait for the 50 rounders to be back in stock!
Thanks M&P 40, that's good to know
What about someone making an aftermarket 25rnd stacker and labelling "Rifle Only"? Think BD is up for it? Certainly a market. Afterall, don't they already make 25rnders for other AR 22s that don't even have the ban on the factory mags?
