As a few people already mentioned here.. I know where I'm gonna be shopping next (well for my first "toy").. I don't know what we should admire more.. John's integrity, patience or self-control.
OP, just ship the barrel back and get a replacement. What starts in the sub-500 range brand spankin' new, can't have resale value of any significance. Live happily ever after.. Or go on posting here.. You're giving John some great advertising
JohnOne, were you a pre-school teacher that needed more challenges in self discipline. Children with guns.
Revolvers RULE; remember that next time you BEND over to pick up brass OR ejected brass pings off the precision gear.
Looking for a car pool buddy for weekly weekday trips from Burnaby to POCO. Better yet I'll drive weekly and you take me hunting.
I don't think that there's any way that this saga can have a happy ending, and not in a good massage kind of way.

C'mon tell us your secret!!! "
I am too old to argue over minor things.... In this case , as I have said before, I always enjoy a good battle of wits however it would appear that my oponent is un-armed....

May I congratulate you on your illuminating piece of research?
I love the SKS reference one! It's the Education System in Canada today. A Million or so Russian and Chinese peasants, not to mention the Satellite Countries, can understand the functioning and use of the SKS. but some people just don't get it.
The problem with trying to make things foolproof is that fools are very ingenious people.
By the way, John, I have this Lee Enfield that I bought from Marstar about a dozen years or so ago, and I would like to return it. It has only fired about 1900 rounds of military ball ammunition through it, been used a few times on the range when it was raining, has a few nicks, dings and scratches during the years to give it character, and rode many miles behind the truck seat.
While I paid $29.95 for it, we both know that these have increased in value, with the average price now being about $349.95. I would like to return it, at your expense for the shipping, and as they are now worth a lot more than I paid for it, please send me a Cheque for the $349.95 amount.
Oh well, it's worth a try!
Be Warned! If you bother me, I can make it to the front gate in 3.2 seconds. Can you do it in 3.1?

I see no problem with your completely logical point of view.... It think only fair that we also include interest on your invested funds for the past 12 years .... Ok with you ??
