    Thanks for sharing. Gotta love the Liberator: Long range, dependable, I think the type flew far more missions for the US 8th over Europe than the more famous B17 Flying Fortress. Also vital for minimising the air gap protecting convoys in the Atlantic,

    The Ploiești raid must have taken some serious brass ones as well.

    I remember hiking up and visiting a crash site in the mountains just east of Chilliwack BC , every spring parts will wash down with the snow melt , I have a piece of a tire and the fuselage.
