    Ladies and Gentleman:

The wait is over! The US State Department has FINALLY approved Praetorian Tactical USA to be registered as an exporter. Thank you all so much for your support and patience!

    SPECIAL ORDERS

We will be happy to special order any firearm you are interested in, provided it is legal for ownership and sale in Canada, and is approved for export from the US Department of State. We will always look into the export approval prior to applying for a license, so that you have an idea of when you will receive your order. There are no import fee's on Special Orders, however, as with any order placed payment is due in full at the time the order is placed. Special Order payments are non-refundable unless the Dept of State denies export.

Once we apply for and receive the specific export license for each purchase order, and have received it at our Canadian location, we will register it, as necessary, and complete the transfer to you, the purchaser. According to the information we have been given, most firearm export licenses will take an average time of eight weeks, but to be safe we estimate between two and twelve weeks. Please note that in some circumstances the license time can be longer than our estimate, depending on the firearm and how quickly the government agencies on both sides of the border process applications. We have no control over the length of time that it takes, however, we will certainly try to keep you, the purchaser, as informed as possible as we receive information.

    THIRD PARTY IMPORTING

We are able to offer this service for most brands and models of firearms, however it is at our discretion. We have recently found that there are brands and models that require a significantly higher amount of work, as well as different licensing and approvals to be able to import (ie: Colt LE or 5.56 marked AR-15's). Due to the extra paperwork, costs, and licenses the rates for standard Third Party Importing cannot apply to these firearms. Please contact us with the make and model of the firearm you are interested in importing using this service, and we will be happy to let you know the full cost prior to you committing to an order.

We handle all paperwork required to export from the US, Import into Canada, and register all firearms (as necessary) with the RCMP.

Should you, as an individual, wish to make a purchase from a US retailer or private party and would like to use this service; we will need you to send us all of the information on each specific firearm that you would like exported.

The required information is: brand, model, caliber and serial number.

As with any Canadian firearms deal, most sellers will not provide this information until you have actually purchased the firearm. There are a number of brands and models that are not approved for export/import so please refer to the list of companies not approved for export, and contact us prior to purchasing any firearm. Please note, specific firearm types and models may have restrictions on them without the brand being specifically listed. We cannot guarantee an export license without first looking into it, so we will check into and confirm EVERY firearm you would like to order, even makes and models we have had exported on earlier orders. Laws and regulations change from time to time, so we will make every effort to stay on top of them, and give our customers the most accurate information available.

Once we have the required information we will send you the Exporting FFL address in the USA, to have the firearm sent to. We will also provide a copy of our US Federal Firearms License (FFL) that will be required by the seller. By US Federal law, the seller of the firearm must take the firearm that you have purchased to a registered FFL in their city or state, and have the FFL handle the shipping. Firearm shipments in the US are only done FFL to FFL, which is why the seller will require a copy of the license. In the event that the sale happens within a reasonable proximity to the US address, the seller is welcome to drop it off in person. Any fee’s associated with transferring specific firearms between FFL’s is the responsibility of you as the buyer, and will be between you and the seller.

We will also send you an “End User Declaration” to fill out as required by the US State Department, US Border Services, CBSA, and RCMP. The required information on this form will include: full name, address, phone number, PAL # and place of birth of the person purchasing the firearm. This requirement is for ALL firearm exports, including long guns classed as non-restricted in Canada. Even with the Canadian Long Gun Registry recently being scrapped, all firearms require this end user statement. Non-Restricted firearms being imported still need to be reported to the RCMP, however, they will not be “registered” to the end user, as far as we know, more information will follow as it is available from the RCMP and Conservative Government.

Shipping costs to the US address and shipment tracking are the responsibility of the purchaser. Once we have received the shipment in the US, we will notify you via private message, email, or phone call depending on your preference. We will handle the rest of the details (paperwork, export, import, registrations, etc.), once we have received the firearm or firearms.

    THIRD PARTY IMPORT FEES

We are offering a special introductory price for the first couple of export/import licenses. This fee is $175 for one firearm, $100 for each additional. If you would like to import larger numbers of firearms, please contact us and we will be happy to work out pricing for you based on volume. Each firearm will also be subject to Canadian GST (based on the initial purchase price) and, if the firearm is not North American manufactured, subject to duty. Once we have confirmed that a firearm is eligible for export/import, we will prepare a full invoice including the cost of the import fee, Canadian taxes, duty (if applicable), and shipping from our location in Calgary to you (if required). Payment is due upon your receipt of this invoice, and is non-refundable unless the Dept of State denies export. As stated, we will do everything in our power to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible.
Semi-Auto firearm magazines must be pinned or limited to a maximum of five or ten rounds prior to being exported to Canada. We will be happy to limit any magazines, shipped and included with your purchase, for you. The fee for this is $5.00 per magazine

    *****************************
Please note: Canadian classed “prohibited” firearms cannot be imported from the US regardless of your PAL “grandfathered” status.

Typically, export of firearms with removable flash suppressors, firearms with barrel lengths less than 16.1”, or firearms with collapsible stocks are not allowed. These firearms may be classed as “Restricted” or require special licensing for US citizens to purchase and own. In the event that you would like to purchase a firearm with any of these features, please contact us prior to the purchase and we can discuss it from there.

If you would like to place an order, or if have any questions, please send them via email to Sales@PraetorianTactical.com, as a PM mailbox will only accept so many messages. I will try to answer as quickly and as accurately as I can. Thank you again!!!

I have quite a number of requests for information that I am working through, which will be much easier and faster with the actual export approval that we now have available to us. If you have an item that you are interested in either ordering, or would just like information on, please email the request to me, rather than posting it on this page. This way I can ensure I am not missing anybody, as I get email notifications but I do not get forum post notifications I will probably be fairly busy sorting out requests for the next few weeks, but I will respond with information as quickly as I can . Thank you very much!

    Please email to: Sales@PraetorianTactical.com

The key to freedom is the ability to be able to defend yourself and if you dont have the tools to do so,then you are at the mercy of whoever wants to put you away, and the tools for that are guns !!!!!
