Yeah, that last sentence would kind of make me wary of ordering though. Makes it sound like they don't care if it gets lost in the mail.

There are quite a few companies that have similar policies. Questar for example:
Questar International's responsibility ends once your package is picked up at our premises by Canada Post.
Never the less, over the last few hours I've had numerous emails with the owner and they have just sorted out their shopping cart system to allow Canadian orders. I've ordered an adapter and I will give it a try.

Now if TSE could just get me one of these new Swiss lowers...

It's probably so obvious an answer that no one's asked, so I'll ask it just to be sure. I'm assuming that these 553 lowers are interchangeable with all the "classic green" and "black special" uppers?

We have a bunch of the DDD adapters enroute.

They will be around $100 each.

We will likely stick with a 1:7... what twist were you interested in?

1:7 I have good accuracy with my 14.3" Swiss arms Carbine with 1:7 barrel using 55g 62g 75g . The 553 having a shorter barrel maybe would suit 1:8 or 1:9 twist rate better?? Someone will chime in with more knowledge I`m sure.

    What do the Swiss use?
