John. Do not take this the wrong way but your just telling me the exact same thing one of your staff did at the time I was looking for that damned grip screw. You say the customer should contact you directly should the customer need assistance or something special well sourcing a grip screw should not be a big deal in the first place nor is it "something special". Just a screw. Now to wait a year for something that may, or may not come in is really a stretch I would think. As my gun was out of warranty, and the waiting a year not an option I got it sorted out. John/Marstar, in the past you really helped me out in getting my Thompson back together by calling the UK and having them tell you how its reassembled so you folks have earned my customer loyalty no questions there. I just responded to the OP question re. grip screw and my experiances replacing it. NO offense in any way shape or form is intended towards Marstar or you.

John, I contacted your parts man today, and it seems that he is aware of this thread. He said he would speak to you regarding your post.

Received the screws in mail. Obviously the quality of these small parts has improved over the years. Thanks John!

And for those others reading...the NP22 grip screws are NOT the same as the P226 grip screws. An FYI...

It looks like the Sig screws are larger, so you could always drill and re-tap your NP22 to accept them. I'm giving that serious consideration as one of the ones on my NP22 doesn't even seem to be drilled perfectly straight

What the Hell? I lost grip screws on 2 of my norc pistols. I replaced with Wilson conbat screws and lost one of them. THe threading in the 1911 grips is way out of spec, and a bit crooked.

    +1 to Marstar.

DO NOT forget to blue (non-permanent) locktite the screws. It may save you from losing another one!!

The threads for the bottom grip screw on the grips of my NP27 dont even make contact with the screw! The rubber grip just holds it there for good looks. I'm a little let down with Dominion Arms.

If they are anything like the Norc 1911's, they are metric vs imperial.

Disregard... I don't know what I'm talking about. I looked at it last night and noticed that the grip screws don't even attach to the magwell. They actually into...I don't even know what to call them... "coupling screws"? Not enough meat there to drill and re-tap.
