    I like the looks of them. They are made by Walther for SW. Does that change any ones mind? Walthers 22 hasnt had the best reviews.

    I still would want one. I use to have an S&W M&P40 and really liked the feel of it. Was a very comfortable gun to handle. The M&P22 is suppose to have the same feel but way more affordable to shoot then the 40.

    The .22lr versions of their full size pistols can be converted. P220, P226, P229...

    Back to the S&W M&P 22LR, does anyone know will the slide be sold by itself?

    My understanding is that very often, the Mosquito cannot be made to fire rimfire either.
