    Samson evo rails are very close to that style if you are looking for just the rail.

    They are about 100 bucks more than then regular model. Slim handguard is a double edged sword - it gets warmer faster as the support hand is closer to the barrel and there is less metal acting as heat sink. For each to his own.

    I was gonna say, I haven't shot an AR in a long time but remember mine would get hot as #### and smoke through the holes on the handguard.

    We should be getting first deliveries of this version sometime this summer (@ July/August) but that's just an estimate right now.
