I like shopping at Marstar. My point is that a heads up on shipping price would be nice. As for calling I did. I am sending an e-mail to John now that I have the address.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool then to speak and remove all doubt.
It's evident that not many people here have ever ordered heavy items and had to pay for the shipping.
For this reason I've never even considered ordering ammunition as the weight-shipping rate would make it cost prohibitive; a magazine costs $15 to send, imagine 100lbs of ammunition.
I shipped a rifle to BC on Monday, weight 6.687 kg, in a large box, Expedited, insured for $1200, and a signature was $63.59. So ammo with all the restrictions and weight of the stuff would be expensive.
It cost me $50 to ship a crate of 7.62x54R to Thunder Bay from Marstar.

people who throw up the "buyer beware" crap need a slap. Buyer beware is a phrase intended for those buying from a random 'joe' at a yard sale, trader magazine or swap meet, not a licensed company.
I've bought a few things from marstar in the past and have not had a problem, i'm sure there is more to this than we are hearing. But if you are having a problem with shipping, trying buying closer to home.
back when more guns supply was open $50 for frieght for a crate of ammo AND a rifle.. not once but for two seperate purchases.. winnipeg to central bc
