I wonder if you can get the full stock for the ranch hand too?
you can, a replacement win 92 stock will do it, but it'll require a little final fitting work. If you're ok with basic woodwork you can do it, or get a gunsmith to do it for you.

But i strongly recommend trying that single point sling method With the right sling you're really not far off a full stock, much better than freehand - and it's still a ranch hand.

I will definitely try it. Voodoo tactical right? I was. Ery surprised when I was able to source a 44 mag so soon after looking. I cant wait to play with it. I want to make it as practical and user friendly as possible. Even if it costs a few dollars.

Well i tried a few others and most worked decently, but most are made for heavier, longer guns and aren't made to use the sling as an actual shooting aid. The Voodo was the right 'tension' for me personally in the cords, and it doesn't have the extra 'tail' at the end like many do so it allows the mares leg to ride nicely on the side of your back, and still allows it to come forward enough to give a good hold.

I don't know that i'd try 300 yard shots with it too much But for the ranges you'd be shooting the ranch hand at it'll tighten up your groups considerably and make it a pretty practical shooter.

.. Yes, agreed. Without Carvek, it would mostly be city-slickers south of the 401, and red-necks to the north of it. Ok, coupla prairie grain-farmers, maybe a rancher or two.

He, on the other hand, lives in a small coastal village on an island in the Pacific Ocean covered by rain forest, and populated by deer.

And when he says he is a carver, I would wager that he is very good. I am from the northwest and have been to haida gwai. It is truly enchanting. The art that the locals do is spectacular and they have skills which I will always envy.

Carverk... If we were all the same, what a boring world this would be. Don't get too worked up about it. Maybe when I'm up there deer hunting you can show me the ropes.

You keep saying the same thing. I apologize. I only made a funny post, didn't think anyone would get that upset, so I guess it wasn't that funny. Sorry mister, I would be making similar mistakes too if it were not for my spell checker. So, I do apologize. So now please move on and never mind my foolishness, I am sure folks will be able to help with your stock question. I have wondered similarly myself.

How could one tell if you were spelling things wrong while you talked?
