I think the demand would be quite high for the 10.5" upper receivers..

Yea, this is an old thread, TI now sells these rifles for $2,899, guessing Sig in germany is discounting the prices to increase sales, definitely making me think twice.

PS: Don't mention other businesses on CGN sponser sites/pages, it's considered rude and the posts can and do get deleted. Just keep it in the general forums like Black/Green rifles, all the best.

I wish these manufactures would get it right for once, make 10.5 a head of the 16.5 and then the 14.5, thats the order for demand and use...

I think it's the US regs, that have set the industry standard for the 16.5 inch barrel, even though these particular german rifles don't go to the states.

Also depends on who's buying them and for what use. The .223/556 round "performs" better in a 16.5 inch barrel, but against paper - the 10.5 barrel loses no potential within 300 metres.

It's really interesting how our laws influence customer demands versus US regs and what they can/can't do, especially with SBR's - where we can do just about anything, it's all just restricted.

Blows my mind that in places like New Zealand it's no biggie to buy a suppressor, lucky hobbits!
