Those are the same ones that we have at work. They are so much better than the other ones we have had in the past.

Those are really awesome and I want one but that is WAY too expensive (no fault of yours, obviously). Can you get thermal monoculars or anything? Like, non weapons mounted? Are they any cheaper?

    Cheers,

you could be suprised how much detail you can see with a thermal... i played alot with the EMES 18 ( leo c2 and leo 2a6m) the temperature difference between different fabrics and the skin makes you able to every detail extremely precisely even when its -30 or +30 outside not everything is at the same temp. it is really really hard to hide from a thermal dead or alive !!!:P but rain, fog, heavy snow and sand storm will mess them up...

I think the only way you can do it is if you coon hunt at night but ur limited to a .22 LR kinda overkill for a .22 if you ask me...

But man it would be cool

Ummmm.... actually, if you look at the selection here:
http://www.atncorp.com/atn-nightvisi...or-320-1x-60hz (This is the cheapest model for under $5000)
They seem to cost about half as much in the US. Why is that? any chance of getting something more reasonably priced here in Canada?

These will probably start flying off the shelves now. Good way to see the cops coming for your guns in the middle of the night.
