Who sells Challengers? I don't see them listed very often? Who distributes them to stores so I can tell my local store who to contact?

I picked up 2 boxes of Challengers from Accuracy Plus in Peterborough, ON last weekend. Looks like a regularly stocked item. Made in Quebec.

What do the slugs look like. Are they a typical foster type slug with the rifling in the lead? Do they have any stabilzation attached. What type of groups are you getting from a smooth bore at 100 yards? Thanks.

The Challengers use a "gualandi" style slug. They are similar to the brenneke in that the wad is screwed to the base.

A quick google will tell you all you want to know about "gualandi" type slugs.

Great info. Look like a real good alternative to the Brenneke. Very much the
same desing idea. Anyone know where these are sold in or near Calgary or Edmonton. Would like to give these a try in my Drilling.

RWS (Rottweil) uses Gualandi slug in its Exact line. I bought a ton of Rottweil 3" Exact magnum (I believe North Sylva imported them), which is the Rottweil's slug with the most energy. It shoots very well in all my shotguns.
