What? Nothing for .223? I thought above all they would have one for that caliber?

Kwik Klip is a POS, as far as I am concerned.
Shortens the magazine inside length noticeably, and the Remmy SA already is plenty short.
I would never install one in my rifle, and would never buy a 700 LA or SA with one installed.
    Regards, Eagleye.
Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.

Years ago I built my 7mm08 on a long action 700 so I could specifically use a Kwik Klip and I wasn't worried about length with that conversion. My 338 06 is set up the same way. Over the many years Kwik Klip has proven to be a reliable conversion. Mag length with some reloads is a concern however. Factory loads have never been a problem I am aware of.

There are many folks that would disagree with you, however you are correct when you point out the reduction in cartridge length but as Guntech pointed out, factory loads work well.

Is this a simple drop in replacement part and does it come with a magazine?

It consists of a trigger guard assembly and one magazine. It requires a little inletting to fit into a BDL stock.

Very little work if any is required to fit it into a BDL Stock, it comes with a 4 round mag and an optional 10 round mag is available as well.
