    Don't forget 8mm mauser...or .45acp....or......who knows what other tomfxckery. Mini-14 is a .223 m1 carbine. Other than that...

    That would work too, it's just that with the spitfire you can use .30 carbine brass necked down to .22 and use the same bolt and mags.

    7.62x25tt surplus ammo. no reloading
    19" barrel nonrestricted
    crome lined,less worry over corrosive ammo
    and for those people who want 22 spitfire , good luck making the brass and reloading it.
